Terms of Service

vivahwala.com is an online platform that helps adults find and connect with prospective marriage partners. We provide profile creation, search, compatibility scoring, interests, messaging, voice and video calling, verification and paid membership features. We are an intermediary that facilitates introductions. We are not a party to any relationship or marriage between members, and we do not arrange, negotiate or guarantee any match.

To use vivahwala.com you must:

• Be of legal marriageable age under applicable law (currently 21 for men and 18 for women in India) and legally competent to enter into a contract.
• Be unmarried, divorced, widowed or otherwise legally free to marry, and be genuinely seeking marriage.
• Not have been removed or barred from the platform before.
• Create a profile only for yourself, or as a parent, guardian or family member acting with the full knowledge and consent of the adult being profiled.

If you do not meet these conditions you must not register or use the service.

You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password and one-time codes confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at thisisbheem@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

One person may hold only one active profile. Duplicate, fake, impersonation or shared accounts may be removed without notice. You may not sell, transfer or lend your account to anyone.

You are solely responsible for the information, photos, videos and messages you post ("Your Content"). You confirm that Your Content is true, that you own it or have the right to use it, and that it does not violate any law or anyone's rights.

You must not:

• Provide false or misleading information about your identity, age, marital status, education, profession, income, family or any other material fact.
• Upload photos or videos that are not genuinely and recently of you, that show other people without their consent, or that are sexually explicit, violent or otherwise inappropriate.
• Create a profile for another person without their knowledge and consent.
• Harass, abuse, threaten, stalk, discriminate against or pressure another member, or send obscene, defamatory or hateful content.
• Ask for or offer money, gifts, loans, investments or any financial help, or use the platform for any commercial, escort, dating-only, matchmaking-agent or promotional purpose.
• Collect, scrape, copy or share other members' data, or use bots, automation or fake interactions.
• Share another member's contact details or private messages outside the platform without consent.
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, payment or verification systems, or interfere with the service.
• Ask for dowry or make any demand or statement encouraging dowry, which is prohibited under Indian law.

Sending an interest, accepting one, messaging or calling is a personal choice between members. You must respect a "no", stop contacting a member who declines or blocks you, and treat every member with courtesy. We limit how many interests and messages can be sent to prevent spam. Free and paid plans include different limits, as shown on the Membership page.

Conversations are private between the participants, but we may review reported messages, and disclose them where the law requires, to investigate abuse. Calls are set up through our servers but audio and video are exchanged directly between members. Do not record or share a call without the other person's consent.

We offer mobile, email, photo and optional government-ID verification. A badge means we completed the stated check at the time it was done. It does not mean we have investigated a member's character, family, finances, criminal or marital history, and it is not a guarantee that any statement in a profile is accurate. Always verify important facts yourself, ideally with your family, before making commitments.

vivahwala.com has a Free plan and paid plans (currently Premium and Elite), and optional paid add-ons such as profile boost. Features and prices are shown on the Membership page and at checkout in Indian rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

• Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. By paying you also agree to Razorpay's terms.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel from Subscription Settings. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time with no cancellation fee, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• We may change prices or features with prior notice. A change never applies to a billing cycle you have already paid for.
• Coupons and referral rewards are subject to their stated conditions, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn if misused.
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy.

The vivahwala.com name, logo, design, text, graphics, software and compilation of data are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the service only for your personal, non-commercial matrimonial purposes and may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer or exploit any part of it without our written permission.

You keep ownership of Your Content. You give vivahwala.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and reproduce Your Content to other members and to operate, secure, verify and improve the service, for as long as your profile exists. We will not use your photos in advertising or publicity without your separate written consent. Success stories are published only with the consent of the people featured.

You can report any profile, photo or message from the platform. We review reports, may ask for more information, and may remove content, warn, restrict or permanently suspend accounts at our discretion, with or without notice depending on severity, and may report unlawful conduct to the authorities. As an intermediary, we act on content according to the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

You are responsible for your own safety. Keep contact details private at first, involve your family or a trusted person, meet in a public place, and never send money or share financial or identity documents with someone you have not personally verified. Read our Trust and Safety Centre for a full checklist. We are not responsible for what happens between members, online or offline.

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we receive a substantiated complaint, if you have provided false information, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law) will survive.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that profiles are accurate or complete, that you will find a partner, or that any compatibility score or horoscope match predicts the success of a relationship. To the maximum extent permitted by law, vivahwala.com, its owners, directors, employees and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, data, goodwill or emotional distress, arising from your use of the service, from the conduct of any member, or from any content you view. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless vivahwala.com and its team from any claim, loss, damage or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your breach of these Terms or the law, or your misuse of the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first at thisisbheem@gmail.com so we can try to resolve any concern informally in good faith. If it is not resolved, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have to approach your local consumer forum.

• Changes: We may update these Terms. We will give notice of material changes by email or in-app notice before they apply, and continued use after that means you accept them.
• Severability: If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force.
• No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
• Entire agreement: These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Disclaimer together are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights; we may assign ours in connection with a business transfer.
• Force majeure: We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Notices: We may send notices to your registered email, mobile number or in-app. You may write to us at the address below.
